The winning 2008 bride will collect more than $8000 in prizes, including a second honeymoon to Vanuatu plus $1000 spending money PLUS your wedding story and photos will be featured both online and in the May 2009 issue of Bride to Be magazine. Each of the monthly winners (who go through to the final) will win a $250 gift voucher to David Jones.

Here's how it will work: every Australian or New Zealand bride married between December 1st 2007 and December 31st 2008 is eligible to enter and can do so until the competition closes at the end of  January 2009. Each month the Bride to Be team will select a group qualifiers whose wedding photos and profiles will be posted here on bridetobe.com.au. Your friends and family then visit the site and vote for you like crazy and the bride with the most votes wins and goes on to the final.

Each month, a winner is announced and their profile will remain on the site until after the grand final. Voting for the Bride of the Year 2008 title begins after the December finalist is announced and all of the monthly finalists are displayed on the voting page.
